The Board of Directors
Our Clinic is supported by a volunteer group of parents of deaf or hard-of- hearing children, adults with a cochlear implant and community members who work closely with Clinic staff to provide a high level of auditory-verbal therapy and audiological services to our pediatric population and cochlear implant pre-assessment and post implant programming and management to Manitoba adults.
This committed group sets policies and procedures that create an environment in which each family and family member or cochlear implant adult feels supported. We work with government – the Departments of Education, Family Services and Health, the education system, corporations, families, social agencies, hearing specialists and special interest groups.
Services are offered free to any family or cochlear implant adult who wishes to use them. We do, however, ask that parent and adults commit to assist us in our fundraising activities through donations of time and/or money. Any donation, large or small, is sincerely appreciated.
